Solis is steadfast in its mission to provide trust, pride, hope, and empowerment to LGBTQIA+ youth navigating housing instability, unemployment, or educational barriers after aging out of foster care. Our comprehensive range of services is designed to instill trust, foster pride, inspire hope, and empower these individuals, guiding them towards a future filled with security and fulfillment.
In the homelessness statistics, LGBTQ youth make up to 40% of the total unaccompanied homeless youth population. Many of these youth report intolerance, physical and emotional mistreatment, neglect by caregivers or peers while in the foster care system.
Solis is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to LGBTQIA+ youth, with a focus on housing, employment, and education.
