Burnside Artist Retreat is a non-profit organization established by acclaimed American actor and singer Dyllon Burnside, best known for his portrayal of Ricky Evangelista, a dancer, in the FX television series Pose.

The mission of the Burnside Artist Retreat is to cultivate the artistic and professional development of Black, queer-identified men and masculine-of-center creatives with exceptional talent. Our aim is to provide an inspiring environment where they can create enduring work that challenges conventional notions of race, gender, and sexuality. Burnside Artist Retreat will serve as a platform for emerging and established artists in music, film/theatre, dance, visual arts, and literature to collaborate, exchange ideas, and pursue their creative endeavors.

I was responsible for developing the Brand Identity, website, and Pitch deck, utilizing all copy and information supplied by Dyllon Burnside.

The logo was crafted by merging the B in Burnside with a tree symbolizing nature. The intertwining of the B and the tree reflects the bond of community and support, while maintaining a clean and artistic appearance for the mark.
